Madagascar South Holiday Package Overview
Seven days crowned by two national parks reputed by its wildlife and landscape combined with Anja park and the Zafimaniry wood carving.
This short tour leads us to discover some of the endemic fauna and flora of Madagascar and the typical landscape of the ruiniform sand stone of Isalo. We start in the capital pass through the nice scenery of the highland; take some part of the rain forest in Ranomafana before ending in the dry open savannah of the middle south.
PROPOSED HOLIDAY/HONEYMOON ITINERARY
Day 1:Welcome to Antananarivo
Welcome to bonfire international Madagascar Tour package.Today is arrival day, and we are ready for you from early morning to late night. If you are arriving by plane, we will pick you up at the airport and bring you to the hotel. Your tour manager will be at the hotel all day. Briefing is scheduled this night, unless some participants arrive late. Then the briefing will be held the next morning before departure.
Your hotel is located in walking distance to resturants, shops and markets. So if you are arriving early, you are free to do some sightseeing on your own.

Day 2: Antananarivo – Ambositra
We start our tour today from the capital of Antananarivo to the capital of wood carving in Ambositra. We may have several stop for short visit on the way, such as the aluminium recycling in Ambatolampy, quick handcraft tour in Antsirabe if the time allow us we may visit some half precious stone market as well. The landscape for today is really nice, dominated by fruit and rice field, small villages and open view. We plan lunch in Antsirabe, later we still have two hours drive to reach our charming accommodation in Ambositra. Short visit and demonstration for wood carving can be planned depend on our arrival time.

Day 3: Ambositra – Ranomafana
Today we have half day drive to reach the rain forest of Ranomafana. We continued along the national seven with its highland landscape, later we borrow another road leads us to the National park of Ranomafana. As soon as we leave the highland, the scenery change to the green east, fresh wind, wide forest river and waterfall. In the afternoon we visit National park of Ranomafana to learn about his endemic fauna and flora, with enough luck we may spot the Bamboo lemurs with its favorite dish.
• Ranomafana Park
Ranomafana is one of the best places to explore the green rain forest of Madagascar. We start our visit from the parking with short explanation on the park map of what are we going to see. Then go on, the first best photo can be from the bridge of Namorona river, nice landscape of the area. We may add in our list some more species of lemurs hopefully with the rarest one, many species of birds and many others animals and plants. to have light rain coast in the bag pack and wear good walking chose will be helpful.

Day 4:Ranomafana – Ranohira
Madagascar is well known as a country of thousand facades, that is true and no comment. After briefing the fresh air of Ranomafana rain forest, we continue our trip to the central south of Madagascar called Ambalavao. About 15 km south of the city is the local managed park Anjà, here we stop of course for a visit and have fun in the nature. Cattas, chameleons, astonished rock formation and many species of plant are to explore here. After the visit we forwards south west direction Ranohira. Here we are in the land of Bara, the tribe breeding more zebu, so we have also good chance for great photos of these sacred animal for the Malagasy.

Day 5: Isalo park
We start early today to enjoy the ruiniform rock formation of Isalo National park. We have car transfer before and after the trek. The trek is easy but the heat makes it difficult, at least one big bottle of water per person is recommended here. The different rock formations, typical fauna and flora with the natural swimming pool and the lakes make our day enjoyable. If you want to refresh yourself in the pool and the lakes, please bring with your bathing stuff.

Day 6: Ranohira – Antsirabe
Possibly our longest drive during the tour, we try to schedule our journey in a intelligent way to avoid the usual boring day drive. With some photo stop and visit of remarquable highlights, we will have fun for our long transfer. We leave the dry area for the Bara tribe to reach the fresh colorful city of Antsirabe. Lunch will be plan in the midway, possibly picnic lunch to be more flexible for timing, and allow us to see more of the the country. We arrive late afternoon in Antsirabe.

Day 7:Antsirabe – Antananarivo
Today we have 170km drive to the capital city of Antananarivo. We start our day with short city tour to explore the well know handicraft, precious and half precious stone and the historical place in Antsirabe before we leave. On the way to Tana we have as well some photos stop for the remarquable nice place such as the fruit seller with their different colour, the fresh vegetable pile beside the road, the nice colourful small car made of wood and the different handcraft from raphia, grass and sisal. An optional visit is also available in the Aluminium recycling of Ambatolampy. Our day will be crowned by these interesting highlights.
Souvenir shopping – Good bye Tana –
Today is our last day in Antananarivo before we fly out to our homeland, we still have good chance to do our last souvenir shopping, many choices are available in Antananarivo. It is depending in what you are interested to buy our direction; we may go to CENAM in the downtown or to rout digue, huge choice of souvenirs we may find here. Spices, stones, musical instruments, t-shirts with lemurs or baobabs, metal craft and many more. After packing your luggages you say good bye for Madagascar. We are happy to organise your transfer to the airport if you want.
